About Doc Dots
Doc Dots is an early-stage digital health initiative developed as part of the Executive MBA Final Transformation Project at Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management (POLIMI), one of Europe’s leading business schools with a strong focus on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
The project is strictly academic in scope and has been designed to explore, through structured research and validation, the potential future launch of a secure, closed digital community for physicians.
Doc Dots addresses a growing global need among doctors to exchange clinical knowledge, discuss cases, and connect with peers and mentors in a trusted and compliant environment, at a time when medical innovation and scientific publications are advancing faster than individual learning capacity.
The vision of the initiative bridges the shortage of specialists and the education gap between remote and urban doctors by offering a secure, closed medical network that enhances collaboration, accelerates knowledge transfer, and improves patient outcomes, while giving partners a trusted channel to support the oncology community. At this stage, all activities including interviews, analyses, and pilot explorations are conducted exclusively for academic purposes to assess feasibility, value creation, and scalability, with no commercial implementation planned until further validation is completed.
